SATISFACTION ASSURED
HELPING CLIENTS ACHIEVE THEIR BEST MOBILITY
'My client said she felt compelled to hug me . She then skipped down the corridor.'
How I made her feet happy?..
Step 1 Consultation/Diagnosis
I diagnosed her symptoms correctly
Remedy - I explained why she was causing her footwear to fail was because the manner in which her shoes were tied meant they were not doing their job properly.
Step 2 Check Up - Orthopaedic Laser Examination
Then I scanned her feet for orthodics
Step 3 Treatment
I relaced the laces corrrectly and trained her to tie bows on her shoes correctly
...end...or so I thought..
She was only 72 and left like a young girl amazed at the world
This lady said she felt so happy she was moved to hug me . She then skipped down the corridor
her parting words were that she going to send her friends and family in to our clinic, and teach her granddaughter how to tie bows properly
All i can say is
It still feels so rewarding to do great work.
AMEN!
Mr Michael Franklin MInstChP Director of Podiatry
Podiatrists are health care professionals who have a special interest in disorders of the foot. They provide assessment, diagnosis and treatment on conditions affecting the foot and can also advise on footwear.
Podiatrists also have an interest in the biomechanics of the feet. This is the term given to how the weight bearing forces are transmitted through the foot.
Sometimes excessive forces cause the feet to deform. This is seen as bunions, arthritic toes or ankle problems. The first indications of biomechanical problems in the feet might be thickened skin on the feet or an abnormal pattern of wear on the shoes.

Podiatrists can treat sports-related injuries or everyday foot problems. They may recommend orthotics, which are specially-made inserts for shoes that help to balance out the loadbearing in the feet.

Even if your feet are in generally good condition you may consider a visit to a podiatrist for advice on general foot care, choice of footwear or basic issues such as unsightly toenails.

In the UK, podiatrists have to undergo training at an accredited educational institution and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. This is a regulatory body that sets standards of conduct, proficiency and education.
